ABOUT

I’ve spent 18 years learning that a good website starts with listening.

I started designing websites in 2008, back when “responsive” wasn’t a word anyone used yet. Since then I’ve worked on dental technology platforms, industrial equipment sites, healthcare practices, and small retail brands — different industries, same job: figure out what a business actually needs from its website, then build it well.

I’m based in Orange County, California, and I work as one person, not a rotating team. That’s deliberate. It means the person who designs your site is the same person who builds it, launches it, and answers your email six months later when you want to add a new page.

Communication first

My biggest strength isn’t a design trend or a piece of software — it’s listening. Most of what makes a project go well happens before any design work starts: understanding what you actually sell, who your customers are, and what’s been frustrating about your current site. I ask a lot of questions early so I’m not guessing later.

Attention to detail

The difference between a site that looks fine and one that feels premium is usually a hundred small decisions — spacing, load time, how a button feels when you click it, whether a form actually makes sense on a phone. I sweat those details because your customers notice them even when they can’t name what’s bothering them.

How I like to work

I keep projects small on purpose — one or two at a time — so you’re never waiting days for a reply or wondering where things stand. You’ll talk to me directly from the first email through launch, and after.

I genuinely like this part of the job — watching a business that’s been held back by a clunky, outdated site suddenly have something that represents them properly, and start pulling in more of the right customers because of it.

If that sounds like the kind of person you want on your project, let’s talk.
